Theatre Puget Sound & Bumbershoot join forces to create fourth-annual TPS Stage, presenting a regional theatre sampler, specially curated to deliver 3 days of raw, hilarious, adventurous and intelligent theatre.

DESCRIPTION

A poetic and mysterious performance event for adults in which the innovative company explores the Kabbalistic idea of “failed worlds” with experimental puppetry, digital projections, and original soundscapes. In four daring pieces, that range from the mystical to the comical, NAKeD PUPPeTS imagines the worlds that fail to become. They conjure a theatre of images that reveals visions of mystery, impossible love, and broken expectations. Taking advantage of the constant tension between the puppet medium and the fetishistic force of conventions, the company plays with the poetic possibilities of this tension to reveal visions of hope, tenderness and imagination.
