DESCRIPTION

At the turn of the century August Strindberg was able to presage most of the 20th century's theatrical forms. In Ghost Sonata, he created a piece which was part surrealist theater and part horror film.

In this other-worldly realm a sensitive boy encounters a mummy, ghosts, the living dead, and a vampire - all suffused with the lyrical beauty of August Strindberg's writing. An astounding, haunting night of theater you won't soon forget.
