DESCRIPTION

We’re transforming On the Boards into the ultimate karaoke club where everything goes - singing, dancing, text recitations, props, costumes and whatever performance art mayhem you can think of. Party Central will be in the Mainstage theater with a bar, a raised performance stage, a dance floor and cabaret seating. In this space every song provides an opportunity for a singer, a dancer and a performer operating in just about any genre they like. For folks more into the “Lost in Translation”-style karaoke rooms we’ll have some intimate spaces set up as well!

Take a look at the online song book (see OtB's website), choose a number and work up a routine with a few friends in advance. Or just show up and go with your on-the-spot intuition. Many of your favorite On the Boards artists will take the stage but there will be plenty of slots available for YOU. Bring friends – the cheap entry fee and cheap booze all benefit On the Boards.

And to get the most bang for your buck, show up at 8 for a very happy hour
