DESCRIPTION

Three red-nosed pirates stumble across a blue-nosed girl fishing in the water around their boat. Being different from them is an unthinkable offense, and they don’t like it! Despite their bumbling, stumbling ways, she teaches them to let go of their prejudices and fears, and they all learn a little bit about themselves along the way.

A Note from the Artistic Director: Bluenose is a story that can be shaped to suit the message you want to discuss with your kids—racism, sexism, colonialism, self-esteem, you name it. And, it’s just plain fun!
