DESCRIPTION

A generations old bitter rivalry, between two powerful families threatens to erupt into all out warfare on the sultry city streets. Amid violent words and heated acts, the male progeny of these feuding families find fated love in their most hated enemy. Heedless of their parents’ wishes, the churches’ censure and societal convention, they pursue their passion with blind abandon. Can a century of hate be overcome by star-crossed love? Violent delights have violent ends. In their triumph they die, like fire and powder, which as they kiss, consume.

For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and his Romeo.

It is not really a gay play. Rather, gender becomes irrelevant. People love and hate other people in this play regardless of their gender.
