|
Unexpected Productions, producers of TheatreSports(tm) for over 23 years, is one of the most popular and respected improv companies in the world, with up to seven shows per week, a year-round improv school, and an annual international tour. Since 1991 Unexpected Productions has been the resident company at the Market Theater in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market.
Unexpected Productions was selected by Ryan Stiles, star of television's "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" to perform for the opening of his Upfront Theatre in Bellingham, Washington, and Unexpected Productions is now a regular attraction there, performing monthly.
Internationally, Unexpected Produtions tours Canada and Europe several times a year and hosts the Seattle International Improvisation Festival, which has served as a model - both in content and structure - for international festivals in many world cities. In July of 2006, our improvised Shakespeare show Unexpected Shakespeare will perform at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival for the second year in a row.
