MISSION STATEMENT
We believe that in a world increasingly mediated by machines and technology, making and experiencing theatre gives us access to what is enlivening and meaningful about being human. We believe in theatre's transformative power because we've seen it make us better, more whole each day we work at it. It allows us access to truths, provides us connections, releases laughter and mitigates pain. We know it does because we've seen it in our classes, heard it from our audiences and students, experienced it ourselves over and over again. We hope you will too.
MORE ABOUT THEATRE
This is a New Space for us--but our work with each other is not new. We began working together in theatre and film at Shoreline Community College and the UW over a decade ago. We have also worked regionally and nationally as actors, writers, teachers and directors--but have always returned over the years to projects with each other. This is our space to continue that and to join with other artists. We are currently self-funded. We are in the process of applying for 501 C3 non-profit status. All money from ticket sales goes toward rent--actors and directors are not currently paid.
