MISSION STATEMENT
|
A place for fantasy and a place for truth, Olympia Family Theater will be a space that adult and young-adult actors can perform for children and their families.
We are passionate about offering our community an alternative to mass media entertainment, to explore complex themes and important issues in a dramatic setting.
Our goal is to present children’s theater that not only entertains, but also stimulates dialogue and personal growth for young people and their families. |

MORE ABOUT THEATRE

We are a newer theater company in Olympia, with a primary mission of providing theater for young audiences. We are currently performing 5 shows per season, including one musical, one for older audiences, and one with an all youth cast. We have had great community support, and hope to develop in to a semi-professional theater with regular youth classes, outreach to under served communities, and school day performances in our own venue. We currently offer week long summer camps, and are tentatively planning a class during Spring Break, in April of 2010. |
