MISSION STATEMENT
|
|
Vital 5 Productions believes that all people hold the capacity to express themselves through art, and that self-expression and our ability to communicate through art is what defines us as human. It is a mission that does not end at 5:00 p.m., or if we run out of money, or get old, or move to a different city. We want to know why our culture celebrates shallow idols and even emptier ideas. Why a society that prides itself on freedom and independence consumes so much junk. We believe that the arts hold the cultural salvation for our minds and our cities, and that the current model of art in America is lifeless and ineffective. What critics we are! |

MORE ABOUT THEATRE

Since 1998, Vital 5 has had 3 art galleries in Seattle, produced 3 plays, one movie, built a bar/gallery space called the Hideout on First Hill, created numerous gorilla and legit art installations all over seattle and done many other projects that just can't be categorized. We will continue to strive and make art in Seattle big, grander and more relevant. |
