MISSION STATEMENT
Kirkland Performance Center provides cultural enrichment by offering a home for the presentation, support and promotion of the performing arts.

"Kirkland Performance Center achieves this mission by:
1.Presenting diverse performances from around the region, the country and the world;
-KPC presents regional, national and international artists, offering audiences a complete range of performances that includes theatre, music, dance and more.
2.Supporting local performing artists and arts organizations:
-KPC has formed partnerships with a number of established producing companies from around the region, providing them with a ôhome away from home.ö KPC promotes the success of these groups by offering rental discounts, marketing and technical support, and box office and house management services. KPCÆs Producing Partners include Belle Arte Concerts, Seattle Baroque, Jim FrenchÆs Imagination Theatre, King County Libraries, Eastside Musical Theatre, Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, Washington Wind Symphony, among others.
3.Reaching young people through innovative educational programs.
-KPC engages youth through a variety dynamic education and family programs. Key components include A World of Arts, KPCÆs premiere educational outreach program, bringing acclaimed touring artists into the schools for in-depth workshops and performances; Kids-At-Play, a unique program that affords students from local schools the opportunity to stage their own performances in KPCÆs state-of-the-art theatre at reduced or no cost to the schools; and Student Matinees, a series of theatrical performances featuring KPC Presented Artists and Producing Partners that are designed to engage the mind, inspire creativity and introduce new cultural experiences to young audiences.
