Mirror Stage seeks to increase tolerance and understanding by challenging assumptions, bias and prejudice, while encouraging more thoughtful reflection. Our success is based upon a strong commitment to using the power of the spoken word and the transformative capacity of theatre to engage the community, and spark the imagination—bringing us to a place of common understanding.
Reflecting the multitude of ethnicities, heritages, backgrounds, and cultures of our community against the backdrop of universal issues with which we all struggle, Mirror Stage opens doors to new ways of seeing and thinking— entertaining while enlightening—in provocative and challenging, yet always accessible ways.
