DESCRIPTION
Seattle playwright Edward Mast's ("Sahmatah: A Palestinian Story", "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea", "Jungalbook") newest work is a satirical comedy skewering a not-so-far-into-the-future consumer culture that simultaneously markets hedonism while it makes a claim to some higher morality. Combining the linguistic stylization of Anthony Burgess' "A Clockwork Orange" with the campy retro-futurism of Italian film director Mario Brava's "Danger: Diabolik", hilarious hi-jinx reign supreme in this meta-theatrical romp through post-modern paradox as seen through the eyes of the sexually frustrated adolescent in us all. You'll never look at sugar, sex, or the space program in quite the same way again!
