DESCRIPTION

While Conrad Birdie, a teen heartthrob reminiscent of Elvis Presley, prepares to join the service, his agent stages the PR stunt of the year. One lucky fan will win a good-bye kiss from Birdie on the nationally televised Ed Sullivan show. But kiss-winner Kim McAfee's high school boyfriend has other ideas. Bye Bye Birdie features memorable songs like Telephone Hour and the irrepressible Put on a Happy Face, along with super dance numbers.
