DESCRIPTION

Shakespeare Northwest is pleased to present its sixth season of the “Skagit River Shakespeare Festival” in Mount Vernon's McIntyre Hall, with performances of "Alls Well That Ends Well" and "The Merchant of Venice" running in repertory July 31st to August 10th. Come early to enjoy the “sonnet slam”, Shakespearian sonnets in a game show format, one half hour before curtain. Performances will take place in McIntyre Hall, 2501 East College Way, Mount Vernon. In the last two seasons over 5000 patrons attended this unique community event. Dates: Alls Well That Ends Well: August 1, 2, 7, 10; Matinee August 3, 9 The Merchant of Venice: July 31, August 3, 6, 8, 9; Matinee August 2,10 Evening Shows begin at 7:30 pm. Matinees begin at 2 pm. The Sonnet Slam begins one-half hour before curtain. Tickets start at $15. Season subscription discounts are available, two plays for $22!
