DESCRIPTION

After a string of performances in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York and Valencia, Spain, Starball returns to Seattle for four weeks at the Smith Planetarium in the Pacific Science Center. Written and performed by John Kaufmann and Dan Dennis, and directed by Rachel Katz Carey, Starball combines live theatre, astronomy, improvisation and original music into an exploration of our sky and dreams. Starball invites audiences of all ages and backgrounds to form a personal connection with the night sky – using our dreams as the vehicle for the journey. “Out of this World … a show of unassuming playfulness.” – Seattle Times “…sure to charm your quirky-hip sensibilities with its feel-good weirdness.” – The Stranger “A delightful evening. I enjoyed it very much.” – Dave Beck, KUOW Radio “Kaufmann and Dennis … are goofy masters of their craft … hurry to the Smith Planetarium to see the maestros at work before it’s too late.” – The Stranger "... the audience was shrieking with glee." – threeimaginarygirls.com "Our rebel heroes ... are out to reconstitute mystery and magic" – Seattle PI
